What is Satilla River Landing?

If thoughts of unspoiled river waters and vast salt marsh vistas delight you, and if dreams of living amid such glorious landscape captivate you, come discover Satilla River Landing.

The setting is splendid

Satilla River Landing is situated along the southeastern coast in historic Woodbine, Georgia - a small town of quaint charm. This beautiful coastal community with its picturesque parks and riverfront walks is the county seat of Camden County. Local leaders have planned for the future by insuring that the city's infrastructure is state of the art and will meet the growth demands that coastal Georgia is experiencing. Our community rests along the banks of the Satilla River. Once called Saint Illa by Spanish explorers, the Satilla is a wonderfully unspoiled pristine waterway abundant with fish and wildlife. This vast inlet to the St. Andrews Sound provides a major access to the Atlantic Ocean and is without question an irresistible haven to boaters, anglers and naturalists.

The pleasures are abundant

Satilla River Landing residents enjoy an array of amenities, both planned and natural. Inside the community is a private recreation center, with pool, walking trails, all-purpose courts and a playground. Of special importance to families is the immediate proximity to the area's outstanding elementary and high schools. And along the banks of the Satilla River are the delights of boating, fishing, crabbing and nature's encounters. Close at hand are the pleasures of Cumberland Island National Seashore, the beaches and historic sites of Georgia's famed Golden Isles or the up-tempo metropolitan pleasures of Jacksonville, Florida. To insure the rewards of life here, Satilla River Landing offers wooded and generously sized homesites. There are beautiful marsh-front homesites and prized direct waterfront homesites on 500-foot wide water that is 30 feet deep at low tide.

The time is now

As residential offerings along the eastern seaboard become more and more rare, the opportunity for the coastal, river-enriched lifestyle at Satilla River Landing becomes more limited and grows more compelling.
